PAGE SIX LEGION EMPLOYMENT BUREAU PLAGES SCORE OF MEN DURING WEEK The American Legion free employ- ment bureau placed 20 men during the past week, with the co-operation of many local employers. This serv- ice was instituted by the American Iegion after reports were made at tha meeting of the state executive council that only about 60 per cent of the service men of the state were able to find employment. ? The local office under the supervi- sion of E. C. Calhoun, has been able to place scores of men since it has been open here, and while ex-service men have had the preference there have been times when labor forces had to be recruited immediately and men who did not serve in the last war Were given jobs. Reports made this morning indi- rated that all jobs filed with the American Legion office had been filled. Employers are again urged to list there wants as a few applications have been received from service men that could not be placed. —<—<—$ 11 HEAD OF LNESTOGK ARE CREMATED IN FRE SNDANCE, Wyo., April 19.—Fire, which destroyed a barn at the ranch of J. The state- ment appears therein that the season is from September 1 to October 15, both inclusive, whereas the law pro- vides that it shall be from Septem- ber 15 to October 15, both inclusive. State Game Warden W. T. Judkins now is endeavoring to “catch up with the mistake.” \ Ghbe Casper Daily Cribune ctions e public ACK, 2. 2, Eo i ee John W.
