* 2 Girl Won on Diamond. ‘The happy climax of a romance which began over a year ago occurred quietly married by Rev. Philip K. Ed- wards of St. Mark's church. ‘The romance between the couple began When Mr. Free was a member of the Midwest baseball team which won the championship of the Rocky Mountain region. Mr. Free, a brother of Harry Free, prominent Casper realtor, and Russell Free, also well known local resident, is associated with C. P. Arbogast in the operation of the Senate cafe. He is a son of Mr. and Mrs. H. M. Free of Manning, Iowa. 4 Miss Williams, a daughter of Mr. and Mrs, Charles Hopkins of Provo, Utah, has been secretary to E. C. Cal- houn, federal board representative for sthe past several months. She has -“ made her home with her sister, Mrs. George F. Halliday. Slipping away from the observation of their friends who anticipated the ceremony, the young couple sought the assistance of Mr. and Mrs. Halli- day,\a@nd were quietly married with- out other attendants. ‘The bride was beautifully gowned in blue silk taffeta and wore a gray georgette picture hat. Shortly after the ceremony the young people left for Denver and other Colorado points where they will remain two weeks. ‘When they return to Casper they will be 4t home to friends in a cozy little apartment in the Newman build- ing.
