The cash dividend is subject to the income tax, but not during the year 1920. The company also announces that{ there are three new oil wells nearly due in the Salt Creek field. The com- peny claims interests in more than sixty producing wells in the Salt Creek field alone. A certain 160 acres in Salt Creek, it is ‘said, which is about to be released, has about $100,000 net royalty impounded. This is on land purchased from the Stock family. Voting Trust Is Dissolved. Announcement has been made of the dissolution of the voting trust of the Salt Creek Producers’ Association, Inc., circulars making this fact known hav- ing been mailed to stockholders from the main offices in New York City late last week. The change in the company policy is effective December 20, after which holders of voting trust certifi- cates muy obtain certificates of capl- tal stock by surrendering their pres- ent certificates. ‘The voting trust, of which F. J. Horne and A, J. Ronahan are trustees, was formed when the company was organ- ized in 1918 to acquire the stock of the Midwest Oi! Company and the in- terests of other concerns in the Salt Creek field. In 1919, the trustees voted an increase in the capital of the company in order to permit of the ac- quisition of other yaluable properties and their action resulted in the forma- tion of ® protective committee, which rted an “investigation” of the at- of the company, in which they re assisted and not hampered by the management. All his wealth could not make him happy or contented, for happiness large- ly depends upon digestion. Without health where does happiness come in? After all the stomach plays a great part in everyday life. Without a healthy stomach and good digestion our blood is thin, watery and poor, our heart action is weak, our liver does not do its duty, and man is miserable and unhappy. Prevent diseage by putting the house in order and strengthening the system against the germs of disease. Dr. Pierce, of the Invalids’ Hotel and Surgical Institute, at Buffalo, N. Y., years ago understood diseases and their prevention, and he discovered certain roots and herbs which were nature’s remedies, and succeeded in putting them up in a form that could be easily pro* cured at the drug store (liquid or tablets). This he called Dr. Pierce’s Golden Medical Discovery. This Dis- covery gives no false stimulation be- cause it contains no alcohol or any nar- cotic, It helps digestion and the as- similation of such elements in the food as are required for the blood. It gives to the blood the food elements the tis- sues require, For over fifty years it has enjoyed the confidence of the American public, Try it now!
