Acres to Be Opened for Entry Next Month Opening of the Highth Unit of the Shoshone project has been set for March 13, and applications must be re- ceived at Powell, Wyo., from March 9 to 18, inclusive, the applicant being re- quired to appear in person before the United States commissioner at Powell in order to complete homestead entry, The construction charges have ‘been fixed at §95 per irrigable acre. @fhe land in this unit consists of 5,000 acrgs in the vicinity,of Garland and Deaver, Wyoming. With this land, applicants for farms will be required, at time of filing, to deposit 5 per cent, or $4.76, for each irrigable acre in the farm unit select- ed. No other payments will be re quired for a-period of five years after filing. For the next five years after this period, a payment of 5 per cent per annum will be required. For the next ten years a payment of 7 per cent per annum will be required.
