THREE MONTHS Remains of Jack Baird Recovered from the Platte Short Dis- | tance Below Where He Was Fording Stream | Jack Baird’s body was found in the North Platte river bed 14 miles east of here this week after being| missing since June 2 when he is sup posed to have been drowned while crossing the stream on horsebeck. Dan Miller, supposed to have been a companion of Baird, was drowned | ‘at that time but the body of Baird | jJhad never been found until this week. Baird’s body was found only a short distance below the spot| where he was supposed to have cross- ed.
