The Riverton-Wyoming Refining company’s plant witnessed its first run of crude during the past week and gesoline has been running into the receiving house except when tempora shutdowns were neces- y sary to make adjustments in prepara- tion for steady operation. The oil is a black heavy crude from the Dallas field, of which 10,000 barrels were on hand when operations started. Altho Riverton reports that the re- finery will continue in steady opera- tion, Isck of confirmation of claims that the refinery has contracted for Pilot Butte and Lander crude means that those interested in the question will closely watch developments of the next few weeks when the first supply of oil will be exhausted.
