Novel Surprise Party | With Mrs. Grant Guest The management committee of the | Friday Night dance club gave a sur- prise party lest night for Mrs. E. S. Grant who is soon to leave Casper for Everett, Wash., to make her per- manent home. Rather than spend the beautiful evening indoors the committee resorted to a novel means of entertaining, making it progres- sive in nature with auto tours over! the city. The itinerary of the merry makers included stops at local pic- ture shows, a light luncheon at the Wigwam and a visit at several homes of the committee members. Those | who attended the pleasing social af- fair were Mesdames C. T. Boone, M. J. Gothberg, Sam Service, John G.| Baueg, John Murray and FE. M. Mil- ler, and the guest, Mrs. E. S. Grant. | . * *. | Friday Night Dances | Will Be Continued | A continuation of the regular Fri- day night dances, to culminate in a gigantic Victory ball which will be given by the Mothers’ league orga- nization on the evening of July 4 at the Masonic temple is the latest decision of the benevolent organiza- tion, Plans had been mede to give but a few more of the series of dances, which have grown in the so- cial world here to almost a necessity, but the demand for the continuation of the pleasant social functions was so great that the members of the league abandoned their idea of dis-| continuing the dances. Plans have been made to, make tonight’s dance | one of the most pleasant of the! season. Cooling refreshments have | been arranged for and several inno- vations have been added to the dance program. pepe Young Married Couple Surprised by Delayed Shower | A delayed shower of household} utensils was heaped upon Mr. and Mrs. E.
