One of the most enjoyable occa- sions ever held in Casper took place at the Mullin el ¥b dance last evening, when about 40 couples par“icipated inf an exclusive dinner dance, given by the Knights of Columbus. A delicious seven-course dinner was served at 8 o'clock which was accompanied by music rendered by the Lyric orches- The hall and tables were beau- ully decorated, carrying out the red ind white color scheme. L. Seidel and other members sheriff's force are vainly trying to solve today. Yesterday evening at five o'clock Seidel left the car right in front of the court house. He re- uppeared at 6 o’clock but the Uni- versal car hed disappeared. Until this morning no special im- portance was attached to the disap- pearance, the sheriff’s office thinking; that some employe of the county had | appropriated the car for the incon- venience of the office force. This bubble was exploded this morning when all county authorities showed up minus the Ford. The sheriff’s office has now begun a diligent and} serious hunt for the vehicle and it is probable the possessor of the car will have a hard time proving own- ership, “HOOKEY’ SEASON IS ON | arraigned to stand trial for owning |property where disorderly conduct With the arrival of the balmy spring days, hot weather, the attrac- tion of the old swimming hole and the fishing rod looming up, many youthful attendants at local schools have been unable to overcome the longing for freedom and have kept the truant _ officer busy rounding them up and teaching them that in strict attendance at school only can they arrive at their desires. Numerous reports of these youth- ful delinquents have been received at the sheriff’s office during the pest two weeks. The juvenile authori- ties are going to us every means possible to keep the children in school and ask the co-operation of , the parents of the delinquents.
