High School Faculty \ Guests at Dinner. i On Tuesday evening, April 29, the) domestic science classes undér the\ supervision of Miss Harriett B. Gard- ner, entertained the high school teach- | ers at dinner at 6:30 o’clock. Sixteen) guests were ‘seated at the large ban-| quet.table, which was attractively decorated in the blue and gold. The centerpiece of blue and yellow flow-| ers was especially beautiful. The dainty nut cups and handvainted menu and place cards added the last | touch to the table. The dinner was planned by the ad- \ vanced class, assisted by the first year class and the work was distributed among the members of both. Mies Hazel White was head buyer, and it was her duty to buy the necessary foodstuffs. Miss Francis Sullivan was head cook and she directed the pre- paration and serving the meal. Miss Grace Stanko acted as housekeeper. | Each course was served by a different | group of girls, including the Misses Gwendolyn Towle, Mildred Bunce, Nessie Duncan, Alma Huffman, Mary Stanko, Mary Bailey and Alice) Blodgett. This was by far the most success-, ful dinner which the class has given, | and could hardly be surpassed.
