Tempt tures were somewhat above normal 1¢ 16th night temperatures were nove freezing. The sunshine was 75 per cent of the possible and-the only precipitation of importance oc- curred over extreme western districts ; otherwise drying conditions prevailed. Melting snow hindered plowing over eastern. and extreme southwestern districts during the early part of the week. Some spring wheat has been sown in northern and eastern dis- tricts, but over western districty there has been practically no activities; on the 17th there was still a covering of 19 inches of snow over central Lin- coln county. Some oats have been sown in northern and eastern. dis- tricts. Ranges and meadows are good, but moisture is needed in the Big Horn Basin.
