The :property owned by the Syndicate has long been looked upon by prominent Geologists as containing oil bearing structure and it is estimated that the prolific oil bearing sands will be encountered at a depth of less than Three Thousand (3,000) feet. as ¢ The Syndicate proposes to spend all of the money raised from the sale of units, in actual development work upon the land. In pursuance of their plans, the Syn- dicate has contracted for the erection of a standard rig, for which the timbers are now being hauled to the ground and bids will be submitted within the next ten ‘days, for the drilling of a well, a contract for which will be let to‘dnll to a depth of Thiriy-fve Hundred (3,500) feet if neces- sary. It is estimated that this well complete and the production thereof placed on a pipe line will cost approximately Fifty Thousand ($50,000) Dollars. ; However, it is the plan of the Syndicate to raise a larger sum than Fifty Thougand ($50,000.00) Dollars, m order to be prepared for any con- tingency that might arise. Units in This Syndicate Are Being Sold at the Rate of One Hundred ($100.00) Dollars each and Lieut. Approximately Six Hun- dred Fifty (650) Units will be placed upon the market for sale and a large number have been sold at the present time and inquiry has been coming in from outside sources which indicates that within a very short time, the entire issue Will be taken up. 3 It Is the Purpose of the Syndicate to start drilling operations soon aftcr May Ist as possible and not later than May 15th, unless weather conditions prevent. The contract of the well will be let on the basis of payment alter completion of the well and no payments will be made until the well is finally completed.
