A cagtain in an easter camp was seeking information regarding the opening of lands in this state for settlement. — 7 “I am about to leave the service,” he wrote, “and, like many other’ of- ficers, have drifted so far from my pre-war occupation that I find it necessary to begin anew.” le was informed by the secretary of state that Wyoming is formulating plang for taking care of hundreds and even thousands of men who are find- ing themselves in the same predica- ment he is -in. $ y —— ag DEMOTION OF COLONEL “SGAVENDAR BAO BLUNDER, ~-DEGLARES COL. In spite of this you must agree that this is ripping lingerie. There’s. yet another mannish flair attacking female underwear, Some of the corsets have, I swan, real gal- luses to keep them on. Just plain sus- penders, yet not plain, for they're pink satin in the main, with-rosebuds or 2 bow or two adorning them, of baby blue. To girdle corsets they’re at- tached, of silk and ‘tricot, all pink matched. Of bones these corsets have but few, and give that latest figure new, which makes you look, though lithe and small, as if you’ wore no stays at all. All newest corsets come this way, so soft and supple that you, may, tho firm and srugly you're encased within their pink and stayed embrace, still breathe and bend, Gh, quite bit, and loll a trifle when you sit. Ah,! ruly, to be thusly stayed were joy to matron and to maid. ; And from pajamas, since they’ve seen ’em, the fair sex will let nothing wean ’em. Such gorgeous garments, rate and racy, of softest silk with in- sets lacy. Bedecked with ruffles frivolous and lots of other fluff and fuss.
