U. held a most successful session . yesterday afternoon at the Carnegie Library from 2:30 until 5 o’clock. Over seventy were present to enjoy the excellent program and to gain an inspiration from the talks given by the superintendent and presidents of the W. C. T. U. The meeting was especially for mothers and children. or the White Ribbon Recruits as they are called. Four new members were. added to the W. C. T. U. and ten White Ribboners were adeed to the roll. Delightful re- freshments were served after the pro- gram. Mrs. Viola Bailey made the intro- ductory speech, Mrs. McBride gave a reading, Mrs. Thompson and Mrs. Hood were enjoined in a duet. while two recitations were given by Beulah Bailey and Irving T.
