GRASS GREEK IN COURTS, REPORT Mexico-Wyoming Seeks to Oust Midwest, Ohio and Grass Creek Companies from Field The Midwest Refining Co., the Ohio Oil Co., and the Grass Creek Oil & Gas Co. are made defendants in a suit brat by the Mexico-Wyoming Oil Co., which firm has_ instituted proceedings against the_three large companies\ to eject them from the Grass Creek field in the northern part of Wyoming. The Mexito-Wyoming is composed of Pittsburgh capitalists in the main, and these parties staked out certain portions ef the Grass Creek field jn 1913. However, they failed to~keep up the assessment work beyond send- ing $50 to their man in the field to validate about 50 claims. After the claims of the Mexico- Wyoming lapsed, the Grass Creek company went into the tield and took up the land again, Icasing it on a percentage basis to the Midwest and Ohio firms.
