A little informal gathering which developed into one of the most. interesting social events of the season for that section of the city, was held at the Lyons’ res- taurant in West Butler at about four o’clock Sunday afternoon. Among those present were Ev- erctt Bishop, John Bishop, Floyd Bishop, Son Davis, Lester M. Lyons, and Lionel Lyons. The greater part of the evening was spent in a spirited exchange of repartee in the shape of milk, mustard, canned’ goods, bottles dishes, cutlery of various kinds, interspersed with bricks and bul- lets until the merry little party was finally broken up with the guests wishing Mr. Lyons and his son many returns of the day.
