There was an explosion of dy- namite at. the Duvall ranch early last Monday morning in which 3 men were instantly: killed and 3 others fatally injured. Among the ones instantly killed was Bert Blough, a young’man who was raised in our midst. It was re- ported that the body was fright- fully mangled. The parents of this unfortunate have the deep- est sympathy of the entire neigh- borhood. Later we heard that five of the above have died and one was taken to the hospital, at Kansas City. Blalock of the Christian church pronounced the ceremony that made the happy pair man and wife. The bride was dressed in a gown of white chiffon and white massaline and carried a bouquet of white roses. The groom was dressed in dark blue serge. The color of pink and white was car- ried out in the decorating. Af- congratulations and well wishes refreshments were served. Later in the evening the wedding cake was cut.
