Jefferson City, Mo., April 3.—The following statement relative to the counties of the State affected by the decision in the township organiza tion case, from Linn County, recent ly handed down by the Supreme Court, was made to-day by Judge Burgess, who wrote the opinion: “The status of the township or ganization decision at this time is that there are sixteen counties affect- ed, as follows: Barton, Bates, Cald- well, Carroll, Cass, Chariton, Da- viess, DeKalb, Grundy, Harrison, Linn, Livingston, Nodaway, Put- nam, Sullivan and Mercer, Rich Hill High School Commencement.
