Anadarko, Ok., Oct. 9.—Fred Kes ter, a restaurant keeper at Moun- tainvlew, was shot and dangerously wounded in a street fight last night by Claude Dixon, also of that vicinity. The bullet entered the left side, paseed through the kidneys and en- tirely through the body. The death of the wounded man is momentarily expected. The shooting is the culmination of grew out ofa dispute in regard to mining claims in the Wichita Moun- tains. Doctor Watson Receives Wife’s Insurance Money. Denver, Colo., Oct. 9 —With the issuance of an erder by Judge Lind- say, giving to Doctor T. J. Watson, formerly of this cléy, the property and money amounting to $9,494 09, lefts by his wife, who was killedina runaway accident at New London, Mo., the curtain has fallen on the final act of the famous Watson case. Everything has been cleared up The insurance companies, which charged that the physician killed his wife, Mrs. Amanda Watson, and forc- ed him to stand trial, by which he was acquitted, have paid the policies and Doctor Watson {s establishing a practice in Pueblo. Details of a Kansas Tragedy. Lacrosse, Kan., Oct. 9.—Details of the killing of Mrs. George Zink, the wite of a farmer, by Phillip Schynard, a hired man, were learned. When Mr. and Mrs, Zink returned home! from a dance, Schynard met them and ordered Mre. Zink to leave the buggy. He fired without effect at Ziak. The horses bec ne frightened at the shots and Zink fell from the vehicle.» When Mra. Zink ran to her hueband’s aid, Schynard shot her. He placed the body in a buggy shed and fastened the door. Zinkescaped to a neighbor’s house. Schnyard drove the buggy to the railway station and boarded a west- bound train.
