Simerly, jr., near Fillmore, Andrew county, last Sun- day morning. The dead body of William Simerly was foundina brush heap Monday morning, much dis- figured. The brush with which it was covered was set on fire. The boy had been killed with a shotgun. Joseph Simerly formerly lived with William Simerly and the latter’s mother and sister. He was intatu ated with the daughter, William’s sister. He was compelled to leave the place a year ago, but remained in the neighborhood and visited the house when he could.
