Corsicana, Tex., April7.—A compa- ny is being formed here to manufac- ture a patent fuel compound. The ingredients of the artiele are all found in Texas. It has crude petro- leum for a base. The compound is compressed into solid bricks, and the manufacturers assert that it will furnish heat the equivalent of coal at a cost of $1.50 per ton, and that it can be burned in ff any stove or furnace. In is nonex- plosive and is light in weight. The company contemplates start- ing factories at Corsicana and Beau- mont, where heavy petroleum oil can be obtained easily.
