Large and Orderly Crowd in Pos- session of the Town Sunday. A Dozen Delegations ot the Order of Woodmen and Ten Bands of Music im Attendance. Rich Hill Review. Notwithstanding tke severity of the etorm cf the preceding evening, and the unsettled and threatening condition cf the weather yesterday morning, there was a large crowd of people in Rich Hill throughout the day to witness the parade of Wood- men of the World and their unveiling ceremonies at Green Lawn cametery Suaday afternoon. The line of march wes taken up at Prospect Park in the Eart Eod and extended from there to the cemetery. There were ten bands of music in line, and twelve delegations of Woodmen. These walked four abreast, while there were buggies, carriages and other vebicles by the hundrede, not to mention the citizens on foot. The different delegations repre- sented were from the following towns: Ft. Scott, Nevada, ElDorado, Schell City, Jasper, Harrisonville, Hume, Adrian, Butler, Pleasanton, Amoret and Kansas City. The Woodmen Circle of Ladies, to the number of 50, in connection with tha ladies’ Woodmen Circle of Rich Hill, to the number of perhaps 75 more, occupied cerriages in the parade. The caremonies at the grave of Sovereign Babliog, where the unveil- iny took place, were beautiful and impressive. Following the unveiling, came the dccora‘ion of the graves of Pythians by the order of Osage Lodge, No. 69, K. of P, also the unyeiling of the monument of John J. McCarthy in the Catholic cemetery, a Hume Woodmen, by the Rich Hill W. O. W, and a countermarch to town, where the procession disbanded and the different members disposed of themselves in various ways—as to them seemed best. The crowd of visitors—todgemen, ssters and others—was variously estimated at from 3,000 to 5,000 pérsons—and for so large a crowd was very select and orderly. There was little to mir the harmony of the ocsazion, the exercises all passing off smoothly, according to program, and but few trivial accidents occurring— so that the entire affair may be safely and freely classed asa splendid suc- cess from beginning to end.
