March 17.— When the state university buildings are re erected they will be built on the old site at Columbia. The senate disposed of this ques- tion this afternoon and practically shaped up the great problem with which the extra session has had to deal. In precisely two hours it had set- tled the matter in so far as it was concerned and had outlined a plan of procedure which the house _ ‘loubtless follow. It adopted on the first ballot by a | vote of 18 to 12 a resolution offered | by Senator Stove declaring it to be | the sense of senate that the main buildings of the university be rebuilt | a Columbia, Boone county as soon as possible. This ends the question of remov- al.
