Skction 2.- The general plan of suid system of water- works shall be as follows MAINS. ‘The pipe system shall consist of not less than five (5) miles in corporate limits, and to be of the best quality of cast iron pipe, of sizes varying from lent (8) inches to four (4) inches. The pipes shali be of standard weights, coated with preservation varnish, and shail be laid in the best possible manner, not less than thirty- +ix (36) Inches below the surface of present graded etreets.
