On the day of her death she asked her mother tor medicine, and being told there was none, she found the tur- pentine and drank nearly a pint, from the effects of which she soon died. She was buried in the Wood- fin grave yard the 28th. We extend our sincere sympathies to the grief- stricken relatives. Candidates seem to think Walnut township don’t amount to much, judging {rom the manner in which they keep away from it; but when election day comes they will think different, tor Walnut township will vote against every candidate in the race, and then they will all be lett. Therock is taken out by steam machinery, and sawed into building material betore it is shipped.
