March The president to-day received trom Brash & Rothenstine, bankers ot Berlin, an additional centribution ot 4,300 marks for the benefit of the 29— fee : sufferers trem the floods in the west. Ot this amount, 3,900 marks were contributed by the emperor anh em- press of Germany. The funds were turned over to the American Asso- ciation of the Red Cross for distribu- tion.
