(CST) over the NBC-KFYR network. Their first appearance on the NBS Club Matinee program will be with the broadcast of Friday, Dec. 17, at 3 p. m. (CST) over the NBC-KFYR network. The trio, of Sam Cowling, Loule Perkins and Gilbert Jones, comes to NBC from a station at Louisville, Ky. Sam Cowling, the tenor, plays guitar, bass and drums for the trio while Perkins, baritone, does most of the arranging for the group, although all assist in this. Jones is second tenor. The boys were heard over Station ‘WLW, an NBC affiliate, several years go under the name “Old Apple They left to accept a place the staff of a Louisville station.
