This pictures comes to the Capitol theatre, Starting Sunday. The picture is “The Life of Emile Zola,” and the scandal is that sur- rounding the conviction and imprison- ment of Captain Alfred Dreyfus on Devil's Island, on a trumped up charge that he had sold important army sec- tets to Germany. Not only the great success of “The Story of Louis Pasteur,” with Paul Muni in the title role, but also the powerful drama of Zola’s picturesque career as @ moulder of public opinion in France, influenced the studio in making this picture.
