Seitz, Mandan, at the reception Tuesday in honor of their golden wedding anni- i versary. The hours of the reception were from 3 to 5 p. m., and 7 to 9 p. m., * at the home of Mr. and Mrs. John L. Brekken, their son-in-law and| daughter. Their 11 children, and 11 of their 19 grandchildren were present for the celebration. In the receiving line were Mr. and Mrs. William H. Seitz, three sons and daughters-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. H. H. Seitz, Duluth, Minn.; Mr. and Mrs. R. P. Seitz, Spokane, Wash.; and Dr. and Mrs. Ira J. Seitz, Cheyenne, Wyo.; and their other eight children, Mrs. T. H. Conway, Livingston, Mo! William Ray Seitz, Thermopolis, Wyo.; Mrs. John L. Brekken, Man- dan; Mrs. Lots W. Mercer, Lemmon, 8. D.; Mrs. W. F. Schlenker, Des Moines, Marvin Seitz, Mandan; Blair E. Seitz, Wahpeton; and Miss Dorothy M, Seitz, Evanston, Ill. Mrs. W. H. Seitz was costumed in a dress of white silk made with a jacket. She wore a corsage of yellow roses. Baskets of flowers decorated the rooms of the Brekken home. Lee Nichols, I. C. Iverson and Ora Cain, Mankato, Minn., and Miss Cecil Porter. Miss Helen Mees, Bismarck, and Mrs. Moer West assisted in the dining room. The ladies were assisted by three other granddaughters of Mr. and Mrs. Seitz in serving, Betty Jane Seitz, Alice Jean Seitz and Vera Conway. At noon a dinner was served for 31 members of the family in the dining room of the Northern Pacific restaur- ant. Yellow tapers lighted the di ing table which was centered with a bowl of yellow snapdragons. Mrs. Seitz is the former Fannie Mae Robbins, born at McArthur, Ohio. The couple were married in McArthur July 6, 1887. Mr, Seitz, who vas born at Allensyille, Ohio, has Jerved Mandan for 36 years in vari- bus public..oftiegs... They-have seen: residents of Mandan since 1892. Both are members of the. Methodist Epis- copal church. Mrs, Seitz is a mem- ber of the Women’s Benefit associa- tion and Queen Esther chapter, Order of Eastern Star. x ee Mr. and Mrs. W. Corwin and two sons, William and Charles, 422 Avenue C, plan to leave for Big Sand Jake near Park Rapids, Minn., Thurs- day or Friday. They will spend the rest of the summer there at their cottage. All classes are held under the supervision of Miss Mary Lee Devereaux, home service director for the Classes for the scouts are held Tuesday and Wednesday at 2 o'clock and evenings of those days at 7 o'clock. They have been quite well attended.
