CLUBS. : Port Lincoln Book Review Club to Entertain Guests Mercer Club Charter Members Are Elected Army Post Bridge Club Meeting 1s Scheduled for Satur- day Evening Mrs. Richard @ Babbitt, chairman of the Fort Lincoln Book Review club which has been holding fortnightly meetings during the winter, an- nounced Friday that next Tuesday's meeting will be open to the inter- ested women of Bismarck and Man- dan. Edna LaMoure Waldo, who gents one or two new books at each meeting, ‘has chosen particularly timely selections for the open session. Most time will be given to ‘I Visit the Soviets” by EF. M. Delafield and to.the current Broadway play, “You Can't Take It With You” by Moss Hart and George Kaufman. Both were released within recent weeks. Briefer consideration will be given to several new fiction titles, includ- ing one published on the day of the meeting. At the close of the reviews, tea will be served. Proceeds will go to- ward ‘purchasing equipment for the new service club in which the pro- gram will start at 3 p. m. Mrs. Joseph 8. Leonard, the commandant, and the other of- ficers’ wives who make up the club membership invite their friends and others who wish to come to attend. x * * EVENING BRIDGE MEETING SCHEDULED A meeting of the Fort Lincoln Evening Bridge club is planned for| 7p. m., Saturday in the service club.
