One quart small white onions, 1 quart green tomatoes sliced, 1 large cauliflower, 4 small green peppers cut in shreds, 1 quart lima beans, 1 quart string beans, 1 head celery, 1 quart good-sized cucumbers cut in small pieces and measured . after cutting, 4 quarts water, 2 cups salt, 1 cup flour, 6 tablespoons mustard, 1 table- spoon tumeric, 1 cup sugar, 2 quarts vinegar. Make a brine of water and salt and pour over onions, tomatoes, cauli- flower, peppers and cucumbers. Let stand 24 hours and drain. Scald lima beans, string beans and celery in salt water and drain.
