A farewell party was given at the schoolhouse on Wednesday evening in honor of Mr. and Mrs. C. E. Moffit ahd family who had their sale on Saturday and expect to go to Oregon to make their home. Old-time danc- ing and whist were the pastime of the evening. The Homemakers pres- ented Mrs. Moffit with a beautiful table cloth and Mr, and Mrs. Moffit were presented with a sum of money.
