Minneapolis Women Going on Meat Strike Minneapolis, Oct. 15.—(#)—The Women's League against the high cost of living in Minneapolis prepared Tuesday for a citywide strike Oct. 18 to 22 seeking a 25 per cent reduction in the price of meat. Members of the league adopted a resolution demanding the meat price H.|reduction “at the expense of the prof- its of the big meat monopolies and not at the expense of the farmer, packing plant worker, or small butcher and his workmen.” Christian Education Tours Are Outlined Twelve Missouri Slope towns are included in the itinerary of one of the three Christian education groups which will tour North Dakota from Nov. 3 to 17, under the auspices of the North Dakota Council of Chris- tian Education. Federal Board Will HearKFYRCaseAgain Thformation that the radio division of the federal communications com- mission had granted a rehearing in the case which caused it to order radio station KFYR off the air was received here Tuesday by E. V. Cox, attorney for the radio station. Re- hearing in the case, Cox said, has been set for Jan. 14, 1936. At the same time the communica- tions commission set aside its prev- ious order under which the broadcast- ing license of KFYR would have been cancelled Oct. 29. ‘The charge against KFYR is that it operated for a long period at a power in excess of that permitted by its li- cense.
