Tribune’s Grain, Livestock and "Market Report.for Thur., Sept. 26 STOOK PRICES SAG | "THEN RALLY SOME NEAR TRADING END Dullness of Decline Induces Short Covering and Some Reinvestment Buying New York, Sept. 26.—(7)—After sagging during most of Thursday's session, the stock market rallied quietly in the ‘final hour and earlier losses of a point or so were shaded or cancelled. The dullness of the decline induced some short covering and reinvestment buying. A number of issues, however, sere still underwater at the finish. "The close was slightly irregular, Transfers approximated 1,000,000 shares, The morning reaction was attrib- uted principally to technical factors. ‘The domestic trade picture was as bright as ever, Clearings for the week ended yesterday reflected further business improvement with a gain of al 20.2 per cent over the total for the Previous week. Corn developed strength in the grain pit, but wheat eased as the government's crop report was about in line with private estimates, Cot- ton did little either way. Bonds were mixed with U. 8.
