LARGE CROWD SEES LEGION WAR MOVIE a a a City Auditorium Jammed for Showing of Film Depicting St. Mihiel Action Ssui>. ane {Thursday night in the City Auditor- jum as Lloyd Spetz Post No. 1 of the American Legion presented a free moving picture, showing the attack on the St. Mihiel sector by American troops in September, 1918. One of the features of the program ‘was the exemplification of the open- ing and closing ceremonies of a reg- ular Legion meeting. The opening consisted of the advance of the colors, prayer by Chaplain Ellis L. Jackson, the singing of America and recitation of the preamble to the constitution of the American Legion. Before the picture was shown Rev. Sackson, an overseas veteran, made a brief address stating the position of the Legion on war and disarmament. He asserted the Legion favors enough Preparedness so that the men who fight, in the event of another war, ‘would have a fair chance of survival and of decent care. Capt. H. A.
