Ia.). “The measure,” Warin said, stitutes a comprehensive program of general agricultural and industrial im ment for the entire Missuori Valley and middlewest.” Warin indicated his chief motive ‘was production of power for rural electrification “which is strictly in line with the president’s program and the encouragement of local industry throughout the most fertile agricul- tural valley in the world.” Present charges for electricity to farmers, Wearing said, make the use of electricity for improvement of rural communities prohibitive.
