Bismarck, N. D., Jan. 14, 1935, Editor, Tribune: It begins to look as though the! government has the farmer up a tree, hanging on for dear life between sky end earth. Jent to putting thousands of farmers out of business, ‘We believe the government must and should take a larger interest in the farmer’s welfare than merely to demand what amounts to the Shylock of flesh if carried to extremes. fe realize very well that the voice Cele hehe Coe 2 for ee Sardines, Cliforni, in tard sauce, 2 for 1 OC No titins, 210 LOC Fish, Treasure Light Meat, Shrimp, 18K wet or dry, No. 1 tins, 29c 2 for ...coreee | SAUERKRAUT Be 22, ste... 23C VEGETABLES: No, 308 Tall Cans, your cholco— 3 for Hominy, Spaghetti, Vegetable Soup, Pork and Beans, Red Kidney Beans, Lima Beans and Soaked Peas .....+.cceresese : 6 for 97 No. 2% for 28¢ OVALTINE, Small size .........3l¢ GRAPE JAM (i. 49c OLIVES, Carol Queens, quart jar 39c CHOCOLATE WR,2"". w2lc % Wb. bar ... Many ideas are advanced on this subject but all ignore the fundamental cause of these terrible killings in car wrecks. The very mechanical nature of car travel on roads (no matter whether Gravelled, olled or paved) precludes any such speed, with safety, as is Permitted and practiced at this time. Excessive speed is the cause of 75 per cent of the wrecks.
