Mrs. Frayne Baker, the immediate past president, made the award of the honors, which were received during) the department convention held at Fargo July 8-10. Two silver cups, the Steim award for outstanding work by the unit in Americanism and the Amelia Morris cup won by the com- munity service and unit activities committees, were presented by Mrs. Baker in behalf of the donors. The citations received were for being 8 superior unit and for notable work in| Americanism. Last year, Mrs. C. W. Leifur headed the unit activities com- mittee and Mrs. E. L. Schlechter was Harry W. Rosenthal. Harold Shaft was a guest speaker|*<% fér the evening, talking on the observ- ance of Constitution day, which falls on Monday.
