Potted daisies, ferns and geraniums were placed about the room. Eighty guests, including six from Mandan, were at the banquet for which a pink and white color scheme was arranged with nut cups, tapers and carnations. Mrs. George F. Friday morning, Miss Morris was hostess for a breakfast with covers for nine guests to compliment the St. Paul visitors and Mrs. Welch, who were first taken on a sightseeing trip and then were conducted through the Capitol. Nut cups represented the wild rose, North Dakota's state flower, and place cards /were white cards with photographs of the Capitol and bearing the De- gree of Honor insignia. Miss Morris presented each honor guest with a gift of North Dakota pottery. Mrs. Bender returned to St. Paul Friday noon.
