Louis Kaufman of New York in'a concert here sometime early in October, was made Friday by Officials of the two organizations. Mrs. Kaufman, formerly was Miss Anette |dahl. Leibole, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. F. J. Leibole, 111 Avenue C, and is well known in the city as a pianist. Mr. Kaufman is a prominent New York violinist. Proceeds from the concert will be used to complete the fund raised this spring by the Thursday Musical club, with the assistance of other organi- zations, to retain Miss Ruby Wilmot @s music instructor in the city schools. Mr. and Mrs. Kaufman have just landed in New York after a three- months stay abroad, to ‘word received by Mrs. Kaufman’s par- ents. Their travels took them to Eng- land, Paris and other points in France, Italy and Switzerland. They plan to come to Bismarck in about a week for a visit, stopping in Philadelphia, ‘Washington, D. J. ‘Moore of the Tribune Apartments left Friday for Walhalla, where she will visit with her mother, Mrs, Agnes Gastonguay. Kuehn, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. A. A. Kuehn, Cambria, Wis., and Gordon D. Brown, Manitowoc, Wis., son of Mr. and Mrs, L. G. Brown, Union City, N. J. Mr. Brown formerly was a teacher in the Bismarck schools. The service took place June 26, at the Cambria Presbyterian church, with three sisters of the bride, Mrs. Abel Jones, Miss Margaret Kuehn and Miss Marie Kuehn, as attendants. ‘Walter Kuehn was best man and ushers were LaFollette Allen and Harry Czosche. Mr. and Mrs. Brown are making their home in Manitowoc, where the bridegroom is manager of the Gamble store.
