An inter- esti prerain in the church parlors was followed by a social hour and luncheon was served by the ladies in the church basement. A large number of Moffit ladies a tended, as well as several from this neighborhood. A musical program by the visiting preachers at Moffit was an entertaining feature. The hostess served a delicious lunch at the close of the meeting. Miss Helen Carlson was an over- night guest at the Kimball home Saturday. Mr. and Mrs. Eric Slovarp and Mr. and Mrs. Geo. Kuntz gave a: ee party Saturday night at the store building in Brittin. A large crowd from Bismarck, as well as the neighbors, attended. Gutenberg fur- nished the music with his accordian. Mrs. R. L. Anderson of Minneapolis arrived here Saturday for a two weeks’ visit with relatives. She was accompanied by her baby daughter. Another daughter, Miss Phyllis, has. been visiting for some time at the home of her grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. E. M. Whitteaker. Mr. and Mrs. Sam Day of Minne- apolis,,-who have been visiting the past ten days with Mr. Day’s par- ents, Mr. and Mrs. Geo. Music was furnished by a Wilton orchestra and midnight lunch was served by the ladies. Henry Jacobson of Pettibone was here Wednesday looking after busi- ness interests. Mr. and Mrs. William Allen and daughters, Elaine and Iola and Frank Weise of Washburn spent Sunday at the Wayne Cummings home. Iola remained for a visit with her little friend, Iona Cummings. Mr. and Mrs. Ira Falkenstein and family and Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Falkenstein and daughter Betty were among those who attended a family reunion held in the Mandan park Sunday in honor of the birthday of August Anderson and Mrs. Jane Register of Bismarck. Over forty attended hte reunion, prong them being relatives from Still,, Ecklund and Bismarck. A picnic dinner was enjoyed by the crowd. Mr. Anderson is the brother of Mrs. Falkenstein and Mrs. Register is the sister of Mr. Falkenstein. Mrs. Nellie Ross, who has been here with her brother-in-law and sis- ter, Mr. and Mrs. William Gilbert- son, left recently for Braddock. Miss Grace Falkenstein, student at the Dickinson normal school, spent the week-end here with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. I. J. Falkenstein.
