Upon investigation we, the executive board, find that Governor Langer is in no way connected with emergency relief administration and therefore not responsible for the unjust plan to rehabilitate the farm buildings, and !we absolve the governor of all blame. “The governor has always been em- phatic in his demands for a living wage scale for labor, and we take this means to as far as possible, right an injustice.” Somebody's Error The “Leader” referred to is Gover- had referred to the farm rehabilita- tion plan as a part of the “new deal” in administering state affairs. The convention resolution con- demned the farm rehabilitation plan and called on the governor to aban- state’s chief executive. Under the new schedule the ‘stores entering the agreement will be open from 9 a. m. to 6 p. m,, including Saturday, a total of 54 hours a week. This is two hours above the hours suggested by Hugh Johnson, national recovery administrator. Stores signing the agreement have announced the employment of addi- tional help in line with the spirit of the NRA code and the aim of Presi- dent Roosevelt to increase employ- ment.
