Among these there are novels, adven- jure stories, animal and nature stor- cs, historical stories, biographie: and various literary readers. In a dition there is an abundance of ference material on each of the subs jects taught in the junior high school and on several topics of interest to| pupils of junior high school age. The novels are listed alphabetical- ly by authors while all other books are classified according to the Dewey decimal system of library classifica- tion. Thus, any book in the library may be found instantly. During the school year anywhere from 1,500 to 2,000 books are loaned to pupils. Every year about 200 books need repair or replacement. Cost of replacements and repair material is paid with book-fines. Principal C. W.
