D., July 29—Sheri- dan county's estimated tax levy for| 1932 totals $50,205.06, a reduction of $29,621.85 from last year's require-| ments, according to the budget. This year’s tax levy will be the low-| est in many years, since the total is nearly $30,000 lower than that of 1931 and the 1931 levy was more than $15,- 900 below that of the previous year. Practically the only increases in the budget estimate for the ensuing year are for poor relief and mothers’ pen- sions, raised from $5,000 to $7,000; care of county patients in the state insane asylum increased $1,000; care of county patients at the state fecble minded institution was raised $500. These increases, however, are partly offset by a reduction in the amount needed to care for county patients at the state tuberculosis sanitarium, from $2,500 last year to $500 on the present estimated budget. The auditor's estimate for the gen- eral fund for the ensuing year is $57,550, compared with the 1931 total of $74,270. nce, general fund, is $26,428.37, hence the amount of levy required for the general fund is $31,121.63. The total levy for the general fund in 1931 was $51,692.86.
