About thirty of the young folks of the neighborhood enjoyed a picnic at “The Rocks” Sunday, a picnic spot near Regan. The skating party which was held in the community hall Saturday eve- ning was largely attended, a number from Still, Bismarck and other ad- joining communities being present besides local young folks. The Baldwin school closed Friday for the summer vacation. A picnic was held in the woods near town on the closing date. Robert Risch, Kenneth Johnson, Edwin Landerholm and Marie Falk- enstein, students of schools took eighth grade examina- tions the past week in school No. 3. Mrs. Knownley Dorman acted as ex- aminer during this period. John Risch left recently for Oliver county where he has rented some land along the river from Martin Bourgois. Mr. and Mrs. Andrew Haibeck and family who have been making their home in apartments in the school house during the school season are leaving for their former home in Bismarck.
