Reid has selected a group of 32 mounted birds which are on display in two show cases in the Natural His- tory room of the Historical Museum ai the Memorial building on the cap- ital grounds. The birds are those which have been seen wild in North Dakota. All are numbered and the contestants will attempt to identify | them by their common names. contest will be open to all boys and girls. Prizes will be awarded to those entering the contest and identifying correctly the highest percentage 0: the birds displayed. ‘The contest will be of special inter- est to the Boy Scouts and Girl Scout on account of their emphasis on out- door activity in their period of the contest. Bird books and helps of any kind may be used by | each contestant in identifying specimens. ' Blanks will be provided at the dis- | play upon which the contestant may list the birds according to their num- ters.
