We a ‘s FORLEGIONTO START Housing Committee Desires Ac- commodations for Women Attending Convention The housing committee of the American Legion and Auxiliary 1s/ working on accommodations for the coming conventions of these two or- ganizations here and wants the peo- ple of Bismarck to prepare for an ap- peal for rooms to supplement hotel accommodations. It is believed that the attendance at the two conventions will be such that the hotel rooms may not suffice to take care of all visitors. Especially is it desired that house rooms be ob- * tained for the women of the auxiliary. Cards are now being printed for a canvass of the city, to list any rooms that may be obtainable during the convention period, July 28, 29 and 30. Residents with ample rooms are asked to exercise their sense of loyalty to Bismarck and their pride of hos- Pitality and plan to offer the housing committee help when the canvass is made, by listing such rooms as they can spare for the brief period of the conventions.
