At noon the ladies -gerved dinner. The fancy work sale added a large sum to the treasury. » Following the sale a short program ‘was rendered. The church choir sang several songs, readings were given \ by Florence and Gale Nordstrom and an address was made by Rev. E. F. Alfson of Hilmar, California, a former . pastor oft he local church. Sunday, June 22nd, is the day for --the regular services at the church but owing to the district Luther League * convention being held at Bismarck on June 20th, 21st and 22nd no services will be held. The Braddock Luther Aseague will send two delegates, Lil- »; lan Forsberg and Florence Nord: strom, to take part in the business .-session on the 2ist. The League's +-eontributions to the programs will be @ reading by Lillian Hill and a song by the choir. Monday, June 23d, the Bismarck district pastors will hold services at the local church, The services com- mence at 10:30. At noon the ladies will serve dinner at the church and at 2:30 another service will be held. ‘Tuijsday evening, July 8th, under -the afispices of the Luther League, an dllustyated lecture on China will be given at the church by two represent- tives of the Missionary Society of Gustavus Adolphus college. One of the young men spent 15 years in China while his father served there as a medical missionary. Some 20 members of the boys and girls from the 4-H Beef, Sheep, Dairy ‘and Sewing clubs accompanied by ~ their leaders, Miss Elsie Damsgard and Dan Macdonald left early Mon- Reid and children have returned home while Mr. and Mrs, Camp will ‘spend their summer vacation here.
