Fort, candidate for the Republican nomination as United States senator from New Jersey, ex- pressed the belief in a campaign ad- dress here last night that repeal of the eighteenth amendment is “a practical impossibility.” The stand of Dwight W. Morrow for repeal and restoration to the states of the power to solve their own prohibition problems was responsible for Fort’s candidacy.
