May Beetle Invasion Is Troubling Germans Hanover, Germany, May 23.—(#)— An Egyptain grasshopper plague is paralleled here by a May beetle in- vasion which is raging in many parts of Schleswig-Holstein, northern Han- over. Swarms of beetles are descending upon the fields, in the streets and even invading homes. The situation has made suspension of school ses- sions necessary, the children helping their parents fight the bugs.
