Mr. Miesen, county agent, was present and instructed in the organ- ization work, Mrs. Leo Sheldon was elected president, Mrs. Fred Habeck vice president and Mrs. John Habeck treasurer. Nine members joined and several others were not able to be present. Th next meeting will be on Thursday, June 12, at the Ed Lund- quist and Gene Cunningham home. Brown and family. The exact date of the baptismal services will be given later. While Ervin Donner who has been taking care of the F. R. Briggs farm south of town, was saddling a pony, it rared up and knocked him down, then trampled on him rendering him unconscious for a time. He was able to reach the home of his neighbor Theodore Zottnick who brought him to town. Upon examination it was found that his hip bone was cracked. Mr. Donner is remaining in town and ° improving as well as can be expected. Fred Kulanda is taking care of the Briggs farm while Mr. Donner is un- able to be there.
